چکیده

A method for variable-rate data sampling is proposed for the purpose of low-power data acquisition in a small footprint microsystem. The procedure enables energy saving by utilizing dynamic power management techniques and is based on the Adams–Bashforth and Adams–Moulton multistep predictorcorrector methods for ordinary differential equations. Newton– Gregory backward difference interpolation formulae and past value substitution are used to facilitate sample rate changes. It is necessary to store only 2 + 1 equispaced past values of and the corresponding values of , where = ( ), and is the number of steps in the Adams methods. For the purposes of demonstrating the technique, fourth-order methods are used, but it is possible to use higher orders to improve accuracy if required.

This paper presented a modified efficient inductive powering link based on ASK modulator and proposed efficient classE power amplifier. The design presents the external part which is located outside the body to transfer power and data to the implanted devices such as implanted Microsystems to stimulate and monitoring the nerves and muscles. The system operated with low band frequency 10MHZ acco...

Modified mathematical model for variable fill fluid coupling

Variable fill fluid couplings are used in the speed control units. Also, variation in coupling oil volume is used in adapting one size of coupling to a wider range of power transmission applications. Available model for the partially filled fluid couplings, has a good performance for couplings with fixed amount of oil but their performance will be degraded if they are used for the variable fill...

Modified Sampling Strategies Using Correlation Coefficient for Estimating Population Mean

This paper proposes two sampling strategies based on the modified ratio estimator using the population mean of auxiliary variable and population correlation coefficient between the study variable and the auxiliary variable by Singh and Tailor (2003) for estimating the population mean (total) of the study variable in a finite population. A comparative study is made with usual sampling strategies...

Modified Goal Programming Approach for Improving the Discrimination Power and Weights Dispersion

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a technique based on linear programming (LP) to measure the relative efficiency of homogeneous units by considering inputs and outputs. The lack of discrimination among efficient decision making units (DMUs) and unrealistic input-outputs weights have been known as the drawback of DEA. In this paper the new scheme based on a goal programming data envelopment an...

Modified signed log-likelihood test for the coefficient of variation of an inverse Gaussian population

In this paper, we consider the problem of two sided hypothesis testing for the parameter of coefficient of variation of an inverse Gaussian population. An approach used here is the modified signed log-likelihood ratio (MSLR) method which is the modification of traditional signed log-likelihood ratio test. Previous works show that this proposed method has third-order accuracy whereas the traditi...
